Every year, pop stars from all over the world look forward to the Smashed Hits Poll Winners Party. This year is no exception.
As the awards ceremony is about to begin, the stars gather backstage, all hoping for their big moment when the winners are announced. They are welcomed by the evening’s hosts, including the famous Doug Beldof, the man behind the Elastoplast concert for famine relief in Ethiopia.
The tension is already palpable… but then disaster strikes. Doug is found dead in the restrooms!
How it works
Everyone is assigned a character and will step into that character’s shoes. Once the murder has been discovered, the police begin their investigation. You are all suspects and must all publicly provide answers to each other and the detective. By engaging in conversation and discussion with one another, you must work together to figure out who committed the murder. One thing is certain… The murderer is sitting here at this table.

We played the Disorient Express at an actual location (a train) while enjoying a meal. That made for the ultimate experience. Tip: Describe each character’s costume so they can dress up as that character. We did that ourselves based on the photo. You might also want to make sure the final verdict is only visible via a QR code. Because during the preparation, I had already spotted the murderer. That made it less fun to play. Otherwise, it’s a lot of fun to play. It’s not that hard to understand.

What a fun and exciting game. The anticipation leading up to it was already amazing. Everyone in the family had gone out of their way to put together the perfect outfit. At first, it took a little while to figure out how to play. But it all became clear as we went along. I definitely recommend it for a fun afternoon or evening. We’ll definitely be playing again!

A really fun game to play with a group of friends! We played with 20 people and brought in an extra person to play the detective (we thought this was a nice added touch). Before the game, the detective sent all the character booklets and an invitation to the participants, so everyone could prepare for their role.
At the end of the game, we felt we could have used a little more explanation for each character as to why he or she wouldn’t have done it. So we looked through the script ourselves and added this to the detective’s lines.
We had a truly fantastic evening playing this game. We played “Drinks and Murder” while enjoying some drinks and a snack platter. There were five of us, and the game took about 2.5 hours. We laughed so hard, and even though there weren’t many of us, it was still hard to figure out who the murderer was! I highly recommend it!

The script ensures that everyone knows exactly what to say. We discovered some unexpected acting talents, which led to a lot of laughter.

We played the Jetset Murder Mystery with six girls at a birthday party. Everyone really got into their characters, which made it super fun. We laughed a lot and ended up playing for 3.5 hours. We had a five-course meal in between and shared the facts while we ate. Between courses, we went searching for secrets and gossip “inside” the different locations.
The use of the special power wasn’t entirely clear, and at first it wasn’t clear whether the girls were supposed to play as a team or if it was every woman for herself… that realization came later in the game.
But all in all, highly recommended!! We can’t wait for the next story!

Absolutely! When you place your order, you’ll receive a file that lets you adjust the number of players yourself. You can add extra players or set up the game for fewer players. You can even do this on the very day you play the game.
Note: If you’ve already printed the game and someone drops out, you can adjust the game and print it again, or have one player take on two roles.

If you’re playing as a murder mystery dinner party, and there’s an odd number of players, someone will automatically take on the role of detective. This person will guide the game while also playing along.
