One evening, Jan and Maria receive a phone call from Emma, their pregnant daughter-in-law. Tragic news! Their son Tom has been in an accident and did not survive. A few days later, the whole family gathers to pay their last respects to Tom.

Afterward, the family sits together and admits that they don’t see each other often enough and that they really want to change that in the future. Peter, the oldest brother in the family, suggests the idea of going away for a weekend with the whole family.

Peter starts a group chat with all the family members to plan the family weekend. Six months later, the time has come: a house has been booked and a date set. The family weekend can begin.

The weekend starts with a barbecue on Friday. After an evening of fun and a few drinks, everyone decides to go to sleep. But in the middle of the night, an ambulance and the police arrive at the property. Maria called because Jan was found dead in the shower…

Brief explanation

Everyone is assigned a character and will take on that character’s role. Once the murder has been discovered, the police begin their investigation. You are all suspects and must all publicly answer questions from each other and the detective. By engaging in conversation and discussion with one another, you must work together to figure out who committed the murder. One thing is certain… The murderer is sitting here at this table.
