Diederik van Teringh is celebrating his 55th birthday with an exclusive gala at his historic estate. The guest list is filled with influential figures, from real estate moguls and television personalities to aristocrats and members of high society.
It has all the makings of an unforgettable evening.
Then the host’s body is discovered at the bottom of the grand staircase.
As shock spreads through the mansion, suspicion falls on everyone. Was it a disgruntled business partner? A nobleman with a long-standing grudge? A jealous spouse? Or perhaps a family member eager to claim an inheritance?
The police have sealed off the estate, and the killer is still among the guests.
You and your fellow partygoers must uncover the truth. Share what you know, expose hidden motives, and unravel a web of lies, secrets, and betrayal before the culprit escapes justice.
How it works
Each player is assigned a unique character complete with secrets, motives, and clues. Once the crime has been discovered, the investigation begins. Everyone is a suspect and must answer questions from both the detective and the other players. By sharing information, questioning one another, and piecing together the evidence, you'll work together to uncover the culprit. One thing is certain: the culprit is sitting at the table.

It was so much fun and we really got to let loose! An amazing experience! We definitely want to play another murder mystery game!
We had a wonderful evening. Everyone was dressed up in great costumes. The Instagram posts really built up the excitement beforehand. Some superpowers seem better than others. All in all, I’d give it 4 stars, because none of us would have wanted to miss this evening!
A really fun game to play with a group of friends! We played with 20 people and brought in an extra person to play the detective (we thought this was a nice added touch). Before the game, the detective sent all the character booklets and an invitation to the participants, so everyone could prepare for their role.
At the end of the game, we felt we could have used a little more explanation for each character as to why he or she wouldn’t have done it. So we looked through the script ourselves and added this to the detective’s lines.

Our Halloween dinner was a huge success! We played “The Murder Family” online with friends and family, and it was so much fun. The kids (all 10 and olderer) were especially excited! Afterward, they wanted to play another murder mystery game right away, that’s how much they enjoyed it!
As the hostess, I didn’t play myself so I could prepare the dishes for our dinner in between rounds. That actually worked perfectly: the guests were fully engrossed in the game, and I could continue working in the kitchen in peace.
In short: highly recommended! It was a fun, exciting, and well-organized evening. We’re already looking forward to the next murder mystery game! 🎃

The story was well put together. For us, the game really got started as soon as we assigned the roles and sent out the invitations. Everyone was already fully immersed in their characters by then, which led to some hilarious moments.

The instructions were a little unclear at times, but everything worked out in the end, and we had a really fun evening and laughed so hard! Definitely worth doing again!! We had a truly fantastic evening playing this game. We played “The Party Murder” while enjoying some drinks and a snack platter. There were five of us, and the game took about 2.5 hours. We laughed so hard, and even though there weren’t many of us, it was still hard to figure out who the murderer was! I highly recommend it!

It was our first time, so it took us a little while to get used to how the game worked. In the end, everything turned out fine. The story was well put together, and it was fun to get into our assigned roles.
Despite the murder, we had a lot of laughs! Surprising ending. We’re definitely going to do this again!
We played the The Jetset Murder Mystery with six girls at a birthday party. Everyone really got into their characters, which made it super fun. We laughed a lot and ended up playing for 3.5 hours. We had a five-course meal in between and shared the facts while we ate. Between courses, we went searching for secrets and gossip “inside” the different locations.
The use of the special power wasn’t entirely clear, and at first it wasn’t clear whether the girls were supposed to play as a team or if it was every woman for herself… that realization came later in the game.
But all in all, highly recommended!! We can’t wait for the next story!
