Who killed Jacob?
You’ve been invited to the country estate of Jacob, a wealthy businessman celebrating his 70th birthday. Having devoted his life to building the family whiskey company into a global success, Jacob has become both admired and envied. With no spouse, children, or close heirs, questions about his fortune have long lingered beneath the surface.
As guests arrive, the evening begins on a cheerful note. Although many attendees are meeting for the first time, conversation flows easily, helped along by generous pours of Jacob’s newest whiskey.
Then everything changes.
A scream echoes through the house. One of the guests has discovered Jacob’s body.
Shock quickly turns to suspicion as everyone realizes the killer is still among them. Was it someone with their eye on an inheritance? A business rival? Or a guest harboring a long-buried grudge?
Now it’s up to you and your fellow guests to uncover the truth. Question suspects, reveal hidden secrets, and follow the clues to identify the killer before the mystery consumes the entire evening.
How it works
Each player is assigned a unique character complete with secrets, motives, and clues. Once the crime has been discovered, the investigation begins. Everyone is a suspect and must answer questions from both the detective and the other players. By sharing information, questioning one another, and piecing together the evidence, you'll work together to uncover the culprit. One thing is certain: the culprit is sitting at the table.

We had a wonderful evening. Everyone was dressed up in great costumes. The Instagram posts really built up the excitement beforehand. Some superpowers seem better than others. All in all, I’d give it 4 stars, because none of us would have wanted to miss this evening!

There were four of us playing “The Party Murder.”
It was our first time, so it took us a little while to get used to how the game worked. In the end, everything turned out fine. The story was well put together, and it was fun to get into our assigned roles.

At first, I had a bad experience. The game wasn't working and I didn't get a response. They addressed the issue and fixed it, so in that regard, it was a positive experience.
Our Halloween dinner was a huge success! We played “The Murder Family” online with friends and family, and it was so much fun. The kids (all 10 and olderer) were especially excited! Afterward, they wanted to play another murder mystery game right away, that’s how much they enjoyed it!
As the hostess, I didn’t play myself so I could prepare the dishes for our dinner in between rounds. That actually worked perfectly: the guests were fully engrossed in the game, and I could continue working in the kitchen in peace.

We had a truly fantastic evening playing this game. We played “The Party Murder” while enjoying some drinks and a snack platter. There were five of us, and the game took about 2.5 hours. We laughed so hard, and even though there weren’t many of us, it was still hard to figure out who the murderer was! I highly recommend it!
The 13 of us had a really fun evening. Three of us managed to identify the real killer. We played the game at the hospital’s outpatient clinic.

On Saturday night, not knowing what game to play, I ordered a murder mystery, and what a great choice that was. Four hours of fun and excitement (and a little bit of competition) trying to figure out who did it. I highly recommend it... an evening of laughs!

A really fun game! We were able to prepare well for our characters. We followed the instructions in the video on the tablet. We made our own name tags.

We played the The Jetset Murder Mystery with six girls at a birthday party. Everyone really got into their characters, which made it super fun. We laughed a lot and ended up playing for 3.5 hours. We had a five-course meal in between and shared the facts while we ate. Between courses, we went searching for secrets and gossip “inside” the different locations.
The use of the special power wasn’t entirely clear, and at first it wasn’t clear whether the girls were supposed to play as a team or if it was every woman for herself… that realization came later in the game.
But all in all, highly recommended!! We can’t wait for the next story!

The instructions were a little unclear at times, but everything worked out in the end, and we had a really fun evening and laughed so hard! Definitely worth doing again!! We’re already looking into which story to try next! We had placed a “real” corpse in the bathroom, which caused a hilarious scene.
A really fun game to play with a group of friends! We played with 20 people and brought in an extra person to play the detective (we thought this was a nice added touch). Before the game, the detective sent all the character booklets and an invitation to the participants, so everyone could prepare for their role.
At the end of the game, we felt we could have used a little more explanation for each character as to why he or she wouldn’t have done it. So we looked through the script ourselves and added this to the detective’s lines.
It was a great evening! We had a wonderful time, and even though it was a murder mystery, we had a lot of fun
