What happened?

Chicago, 1934 – The Great Depression. Banks have collapsed, dust storms have devastated the fields, and unemployment is rampant. Despair is growing among Americans and immigrants, while Prohibition makes the sale of hard liquor illegal.

Amid this chaos, organized crime flourishes. The Italian Mafia, Irish gangsters, and other criminals profit from bootlegging, arms smuggling, gambling, extortion, and money laundering. Clans fight for power and territory, while within the gangs, betrayal and murder are a daily occurrence.

Now a mob boss is gathering a group of people: his “associates,” rivals, businessmen, and residents. The reason? The murder of Vittore Zabaglione, the Boss’s only son and heir. Vittore was found dead in an illegal bar. One of you is the killer.

The Boss will avenge the murder… if he finds the culprit. Will you help him?

What you'll need for this mafia murder mystery game

Brief explanation

Everyone is assigned a character and will take on that character’s role. Once the murder has been discovered, the Boss begins an investigation. You are all suspects and must all publicly answer questions from one another and the Boss. By engaging in conversation and discussion with one another, you must work together to figure out who committed the murder. One thing is certain… The murderer is sitting here at this table.
