What do our customers say?
The story was well put together. For us, the game really got started as soon as we assigned the roles and sent out the invitations. Everyone was already fully immersed in their characters by then, which led to some hilarious moments.
The game was fun to play! We paired the kids (all around 10 years old) with someone, and they really enjoyed it too.
The 13 of us had a really fun evening. Three of us managed to identify the real killer. We played the game at the hospital’s outpatient clinic.
At first, I had a bad experience. The game wasn't working and I didn't get a response. They addressed the issue and fixed it, so in that regard, it was a positive experience.
An unforgettable evening!
Everyone really got into their roles. The rules and instructions were clear. The digital detective guided us through the game.
We laughed so hard, but even in all the chaos, a few of us managed to unmask the killer.
Highly recommended for a fun, relaxing evening with friends.
A really fun game to play with a group of friends! We played with 20 people and brought in an extra person to play the detective (we thought this was a nice added touch). Before the game, the detective sent all the character booklets and an invitation to the participants, so everyone could prepare for their role.
At the end of the game, we felt we could have used a little more explanation for each character as to why he or she wouldn’t have done it. So we looked through the script ourselves and added this to the detective’s lines.
Really fun and enjoyable.
We played the The Jetset Murder Mystery with six girls at a birthday party. Everyone really got into their characters, which made it super fun. We laughed a lot and ended up playing for 3.5 hours. We had a five-course meal in between and shared the facts while we ate. Between courses, we went searching for secrets and gossip “inside” the different locations.
The use of the special power wasn’t entirely clear, and at first it wasn’t clear whether the girls were supposed to play as a team or if it was every woman for herself… that realization came later in the game.
But all in all, highly recommended!! We can’t wait for the next story!
Highly recommended!
We had a really fun evening!
The instructions were a little unclear at times, but everything worked out in the end, and we had a really fun evening and laughed so hard! Definitely worth doing again!! We’re already looking into which story to try next! We had placed a “real” corpse in the bathroom, which caused a hilarious scene.
There were four of us playing “The Party Murder.”
It was our first time, so it took us a little while to get used to how the game worked. In the end, everything turned out fine. The story was well put together, and it was fun to get into our assigned roles.
Despite the murder, we had a lot of laughs! Surprising ending. We’re definitely going to do this again!
We ordered this murder mystery game to play on Halloween, and it was a fantastic evening! The characters were original and funny. No special preparation is needed, just download, print, and play.
We were with a group of friends, and everyone got into their roles right away since we had dressed up as our characters. We definitely recommend it!
A really fun game! We were able to prepare well for our characters. We followed the instructions in the video on the tablet. We made our own name tags.
I would definitely recommend it!
Such a fun game and so well put together! We had a really fun and lively evening. We were totally immersed in the story. It was seriously awesome!!!!! We’d love to buy another game 🥰
We had a wonderful evening. Everyone was dressed up in great costumes. The Instagram posts really built up the excitement beforehand. Some superpowers seem better than others. All in all, I’d give it 4 stars, because none of us would have wanted to miss this evening!
On Saturday night, not knowing what game to play, I ordered a murder mystery, and what a great choice that was. Four hours of fun and excitement (and a little bit of competition) trying to figure out who did it. I highly recommend it... an evening of laughs!
We really enjoyed our evening playing the game. It took a little while to get into it at first and to read the script carefully. But by the second round, everyone was fully immersed in their roles.
What a fun and exciting game. The anticipation leading up to it was already amazing. Everyone in the family had gone out of their way to put together the perfect outfit. At first, it took a little while to figure out how to play. But it all became clear as we went along. I definitely recommend it for a fun afternoon or evening. We’ll definitely be playing again!
We had a really fun evening thanks to this game! Clear instructions and an engaging plot!
It was a great evening! We had a wonderful time, and even though it was a murder mystery, we had a lot of fun
It was so much fun and we really got to let loose! An amazing experience! We definitely want to play another murder mystery game!
We had a truly fantastic evening playing this game. We played “The Party Murder” while enjoying some drinks and a snack platter. There were five of us, and the game took about 2.5 hours. We laughed so hard, and even though there weren’t many of us, it was still hard to figure out who the murderer was! I highly recommend it!
Our Halloween dinner was a huge success! We played “The Murder Family” online with friends and family, and it was so much fun. The kids (all 10 and olderer) were especially excited! Afterward, they wanted to play another murder mystery game right away, that’s how much they enjoyed it!
As the hostess, I didn’t play myself so I could prepare the dishes for our dinner in between rounds. That actually worked perfectly: the guests were fully engrossed in the game, and I could continue working in the kitchen in peace.
In short: highly recommended! It was a fun, exciting, and well-organized evening. We’re already looking forward to the next murder mystery game! 🎃
What a fantastic game! We played “The Jet Set Murder” with 10 girls. Everyone really got into their roles and had put a lot of effort into their looks. The game was purchased in just 5 minutes, and you can start playing right away. The instructions are clear, and murdermysterykit.com responds quickly via the app if you don’t understand something or have more questions.

The Briefing
The game begins with an introductory video about the murder. Each player immediately receives their own character and secret script on their phone or as a printed character sheet.
The Confrontation
Someone at the table is the murderer. Sometimes intentionally, sometimes unintentionally. Share clues, engage in discussion, and try to expose the liar in the group.
The Judgment
The virtual detective shares the final piece of evidence. Combine this with your own findings, identify the culprit, and find out who is the best detective.
Frequently Asked Questions
Right away! As soon as you've completed your order, you'll receive the murder mystery story directly in your inbox. All you have to do is go over the game, and then you can get started.
All you need is one of our games. Depending on which game you choose, you can either print it out or play it digitally.
After printing, all you need is a fun group to play with. Are you playing it as a murder mystery dinner? Then, of course, you’ll also need a 3- or 5-course dinner. With a print-and-play game, you’ll receive helpful tips for this.
The game is easy to understand, so anyone can join in. Even people who don’t usually like games often enjoy this one. If there are a few kids around 13 years old present, but the group is mostly made up of adults, the game works just fine.
Absolutely! When you place your order, you’ll receive a file that lets you adjust the number of players yourself. You can add extra players or set up the game for fewer players. You can even do this on the very day you play the game.
Note: If you’ve already printed the game and someone drops out, you can adjust the game and print it again, or have one player take on two roles.
This isn’t necessary (but it can be fun!). Since we’ve added a virtual detective to the game, this is no longer required. If you’re playing as a murder mystery dinner party, and there’s an odd number of players, someone will automatically take on the role of detective. This person will guide the game while also playing along.
Absolutely! You'll receive everything you need to play a murder mystery game at home. You can see what's included with the game on the product pages.
Once you've downloaded the game, you can play it whenever you want. You have up to 6 months after your order to download the game.
Has this period expired and would you still like to download the game? No problem. Please contact us, and we’ll make sure you receive the game.
Our games are designed for groups of 4 to 20 people. Playing with 21 people? No problem. In that case, one player can take on the role of detective.
In a murder mystery dinner, you and your group work together to solve a thrilling murder mystery over dinner. Each player is assigned a unique role, complete with background information, secrets, and clues. Throughout the game, you try to figure out who committed the murder while also playing your own role.
The game consists of several rounds. In each round, the players receive new information, questions, or tasks. In between, you can serve the courses of the dinner, for example, during a 3- or 5-course dinner. This allows you to alternate between the meal and the game in a fun way.
At the end of the murder mystery dinner, everyone makes a guess: who is the murderer and why? Then the solution is revealed. The person who correctly solved the mystery wins the game.
